Harpae mainly serves as a guardian or mother figure towards Goldia, trying her best to be a person she can find comfort and protection from. Judging by their interactions in the Bonus Room, they now maintain a courteous and amicable relationship. Despite this, Goldia still wishes to befriend the doll and even sews her back together right after the latter attempts to execute her. Goldia conducts herself warily around Queen Egliette, as the doll takes every chance she can to assert power and is swift to dispose of people she finds irritating. Inside the Mirror Room of Fleta's Dollhouse, Goldia uses her only wish to obtain a pocket mirror like her own to give to Fleta, and expresses hurt and disappointment when Fleta refuses to accept it. Goldia treats Fleta as a friend, and seems to truly view her as one despite many of the princess' harsh words and actions toward her. In 1878, Goldia was sent to a mental hospital in Austria, where she stayed for several years. As a result of her very unstable home, Goldia developed several mental disorders including Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly known as Multiple Personality Disorder) in order to cope with the situation. She also had a twin brother, Henri, whose whereabouts are unknown. Her father, Sergeant Roman die Heilige, was constantly at war and fairly distant from the family her mother, Elise die Heilige, who was very ill, passed away at some point. Goldia was born in 1862 AD to a wealthy, but highly dysfunctional Austrian family. This is most easily demonstrated when she expresses belief in Enjel's words about her identity, even after only being a short time since they had met.
However, it is noteworthy that despite her positive morals, Goldia has brought harm on others indirectly, and occasionally even by her own hand this is specifically shown when she plucks the eyeball from the " Hatred" painting to avoid losing her own.Īlthough commonly donning a gentle, cheerful outlook during exchanges with others, throughout the events of the game Goldia is predominantly clouded by confusion and doubt over who she truly is, even to the point of naivete.
She has been shown not to wish harm upon others, in some cases even pleading for others to remain safe despite any ill-willed actions they had performed. Goldia is a sweet, kind, and caring young girl who is always willing to help others, no matter what the cost may be. Because of the kind-hearted nature of her personality, other characters often call her "Miss Goody Two Shoes" or scorn her for her acts of innocence. Throughout the game, she carries her golden pocket mirror in her left hand, making sure to keep it at her side.Īccording to the creators, Goldia's appearance is from when she was around 12-13 years old. Goldia also wears knee-high white socks and pink Mary Jane-style shoes with pink bows on top of the straps. The skirt has suspenders with blue bows on each side connecting the straps to the length of her skirt the skirt also has a white ruffled trim underneath, matching the color of her blouse. She also has a long navy blue skirt, reaching her lower thighs in length. She is seen wearing a lacy long-sleeved white blouse with red buttons and a red broach at the collar. Two matching pink bows adorn the front portions of her bangs, specifically the short strands framing her face.
She has cherry red eyes with a hint of gold in the mid-bottom. Her hair reaches down to her thighs, and has been commented on as being very long and delicate by others, specifically Harpae. Goldia has light brown hair, given a pink hue in the official artwork for the game.
